A real beer and pretzels game. This is a re-awaking of the Swedish 3-year-old game, Svea Rike III.

Translated to English, a bit of patches applied, cleaned up, and sold as Crown of the North. Note the American edition exists only as a ‘pack’. Wrapped with Europa Universalis II and sold as Europa Universalis: Crown of the North.

If you already own Svea Rike III, there is nothing new for you here, really!

The game takes place between 1275 and 1340. You can play as Norway, Sweden or Denmark and plot to change the historical legacy of a region little explored in other games. The basic game play revolves around upgrading the infrastructure of your cities, keeping your population happy, and obviously waging war with your neighbours and expanding your territory.
