Sam is back in the second episode of his battles with his arch-nemesis Mental. After finding the Sirian spacecraft in ancient Egypt, Sam "Serious" Stone hijacked it and is heading for Mental himself.

Unfortunately, Sam loses control of the alien ship and crashlands somewhere in the South American mountains.

Now, Sam is surrounded by an even stronger army of Mental's forces, Sam will have to battle his way towards Mental's fortress in order to put a stop to Mental's plans once and for all.

Trivia

A third Serious Sam game using the same engine, called "The Last Encounter," was originally planned, but abandoned in favor of Serious Sam II, which boasts an all new engine.
