Tobias Schachte is a Co-Founder of House of Tales.

In a 2004 preview of The Moment of Silence, this was written about Tobias:

27 years old. Studies in computer sciences. Has been working in the interactive sector as a programmer and designer since 1996. Was lead programmer for six edutainment/adventure titles for ZDF Mutimedia (Terra X) and a variety of commercial applications.

Founder of and studio lead at CDV Software Entertainment Studio in Siegerland, Germany for several years. Lead developer of the Cougar Adventure Engine, lead programmer on the INCA development tool.

Project head, story creator and lead programmer on The Mystery of the Druids (CDV/House of Tales, released 2001).

Technical director and workflow coordinator on The Moment of Silence.
