Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force
Description official descriptions
Based on the events of Episode IV-VI, players take control of Luke's journey to become a Jedi as he rescues Princess Leia, trains with Yoda on Dagobah, and faces Darth Vader for the final showdown.
The game is presented in a side-scrolling format, visiting all of the planets from the series, as well as engaging in a run against the Death Star and a speeder bike chase through the forest of Endor. As Luke progresses, he goes from a simple farmboy to a full-fledged Jedi Knight, learning new Force techniques until he is ready to face Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine aboard the second Death Star.
Also included in the game is a multi-player mode where friends can link up against each other to engage in dogfights and mini-games with ships from the Trilogy.

The Good
Well if you remember the glory days of the SNES days you might remember the Super Star Wars series. There were three Star Wars platformers based on the first three movies. They were spectacular games that many people loved and were big hits. Why am I talking about them in this review? Well, ten years since Super Star Wars, Apprentice Of The Force brings it all back again!! You start off as farmer luke with your blue light saber and blaster. As you progress in the game you become a better Jedi eventually reaching Jedi Luke. The game is built on the Prince Of Persia engine so has great graphics. The controls are very easy to master, and the RPG elements just make the experience all the more better.
The entire game is told from Luke's perspective and though you only play as him you will meet all the classic characters from Star Wars.
The Bad
Though the graphics are great none of the characters actually have faces. That's about it.
The Bottom Line
A great Star Wars, one of the best. If your a fan of the original Super Star Wars games or just want to play a great game, I recommend you check this out.
