Timelapse
Description official descriptions
Timelapse is a puzzle-solving adventure game similar to Myst. It starts with you receiving an urgent message from an archaeologist friend working in the Easter Islands on a ancient link to lost civilizations. You arrive at his dig site to find him missing. You are the only person who can find him and your search will eventually lead you to the ancient Egyptian, Mayan, Anasazi, and the lost city of Atlantis.

Unless you think Myst was a great game, stay away!
The Good
The game looks purty. It has some very nice graphics and some decent animation. It had one of those game atmospheres where you feel like your there and you expect something exciting to happen at any moment...
The Bad
...but it never does. It's like GTE said "Let's make a game" and immediately said "Hey, that Myst game sold 18,000,000,000,000 copies, let's do that". I mean I liked Myst as much as the next guy (the first time at least) but Timelapse is an exercise in frustation. All the puzzles are majorly complex and don't go anywhere. When you finally beat a puzzle you want a reward, a conversation, ANYTHING! This game makes you feel bored and lonely. I only made it about a quarter of they way through the game before I stomped on the box and wished I could have the hours I wasted on this game back.
The Bottom Line
Boring
