Invaders Possibly from Space is a Space Invaders tribute set in the Futurama universe.

The game contains the same basic gameplay as its source material, enhanced with a 3D-rendered background and various audio clips and pictures from the show. There are five rows of alien sprites, moving left and right in tandem, and dropping relatively slow moving laser shots towards the ground. The player needs to fire upwards, hitting the aliens whilst dodging the dropping laser shots. Three shields protecting the player, can be slowly destroyed by either the player themselves or the laser shots. Occasionally, a fast moving flying saucer will fly horizontally for the player to shoot at.

Cube 2: Sauerbraten is an open source sequel to Cube by the same company, an FPS with a built in editor. Features include transform and lighting support and fast real-time geometry support. The designers focused more on faster vector processing instead eye candy, to provide a fast, solid gameplay.

There is no story, but a couple campaigns are selectable from the start menu. The soundtrack is thrash metal. The bad guys are generic gun carrying demons and trolls. There are ammo and health packs floating around, similar to Quake 3. You can adjust gravity and even play in slow mode.

The maps provided with the games are similar to Quake and Quake 3.

The game comes with a large arrangement of selectable options, allowing for very customizable gameplay. The sequel comes with rudimentary rag-doll physics, the ability to import Quake 3 models, improved rendering, and easier interface to access and change gameplay.

Like the original game, you can actually change the map using editing tools while playing the game.

Hoyle Slots is a virtual slot machine simulator, with an assortment of betting options. Running in a window with slot machines detailed to resemble Las Vegas machines.

The game keeps a running tally and lets you apply for credit, depending on your spending limits. You can select machines with higher payoffs, but with larger minimum bets.

The interface is a detailed rendering of various fictional slot machines, with themes similar to what you would see in a casino.

You and your classmate Frankie, go on a treasure hunt created by your teacher, Ms. Nobel. You search for clues and assist the school staff during your hunt.

The games consists of several educational mini games involving adding and subtraction math, word recognition, and reading. The player interacts with several colorful characters that provide the premise for each puzzle. Solving a puzzle helps bring the player closer to finding the 3 clues.

This game is rated for ages of 5-7.

911 Fire Rescue is a first-person "Douser" that pits you against raging fires. You run into burning buildings with your fire hose to put out fires and rescue trapped victims. The game is set in houses and buildings, simulating smoke that blurs your vision and burns your lungs. The missions require you to find the people trapped inside.

Controlled like a first-person shooter, you aim and fire your hose at flames to douse them. Searching locations is made difficult by the presence of smoke. You only have a limited amount of oxygen and you need to crouch or steer away from smoke to survive. There are different types of fire to battle: electrical fires, fires with oil and grease, special metal fires, etc. For each situation, there are different strategies to face it, with a CO² extinguisher, portable foam sprayer and different types of hoses. Sometimes, you also need to disable the electric circuits first. With truck hoses, there is an unlimited amount of water, but the others will require you use the supply carefully.

You put out fires, and find and click on the body to end the level. Points are based on your speed. There are 17 missions in total and these are unlocked gradually.

Chain Reaction is a 3D variation of The Incredible Machine. You solve puzzles by arranging an assortment of levers, belts, motors and other items to achieve a goal. The game comes with timed levels and a sandbox mode. You can fully rotate the camera to observe your constructions and there are 8 settings for more than 50 game levels, along with a few tutorials.

The goal is to move a fuzzy monster to a designated spot in the level, using items such as flashlights, basketballs, trampolines and fans. The game depends on gravity as the primary key to all puzzles. The solutions require a pre-selected array of pieces to be arranged in certain ways. The game comes with a "Builder", a construction set where you can design your own levels with over 65 parts in the toybox. These can be exported and shared online.

HappyLand is a side scrolling platform jumping game that requires you to gather and lead happyland animals to the happyzones. You play a dog that receives instructions from various old men throughout the game.

Once you've lead enough animals to the happyzone, the level door opens and you can proceed to the next level. Of course, you can also stay and find all the goodies hidden in each level.

This is the sequel to Sierra's Trophy Bass game. It features fishing from an overhead view, simulating reeling and reel dragging for different classes of fish.

The game includes a tournament mode and an online multiplayer mode for internet connected computers. Numerous tutorial video clips have been included as well. You can choose your bait and location from various maps and menus.

Tournament levels let you compete with other online virtual fisherman for the best catches. You can strategize by using fishing techniques, picking bait and fishing spots. There is even a fish radar to assist with finding good fishing spots.

A truly unique FPS. All the textures are scanned pencil drawings. All sound effects are made by the programmer with a microphone. You face numerous enemies that pop out of the ground and insult you. The game is in black and white, with occasional splashes of color.

There isn't much of a story as so much as there is exploration of a bizarre series of caverns and doors. You collect hand grenades and guns to shoot such characters as Doobie Dude and the rats.

Created with tongue firmly in cheek, this game is fully programmed and designed by Lon Flickinger for the 2000 Independent Game Festival.

The game involves adult themes and provides choices for the player to make. The right choices obviously end in romantic intimacy. The wrong choices serves as a tool to educate the player about active listening.

The game involves a changeable character riding a skateboard over an imaginary playing field, made of red blood cells and cartoon representations of viral infections. The character collects innoculents to shoot at his enemies. The player pivots his character in order to steer around objects and collect bonus shots.

You learn how to fuse with Bert and become a monster fighting gargoyle. You'll spend most of the game attacking bad guys by swinging your bat at them or volleying their fire.

This is a side scrolling adventure, similar in play to Super Mario Bros., but with monsters and skulls. The game itself is infamous for its outlandish quotes.

Crete is a sliding puzzle game. Fastring requires capturing pieces by building a series of completed rectanges. Master of bombs is a tricky variation of Tetris. Flying Pictures is similar to concentration. Shadows plays like Breakout except the targets move as well. And of course there's Klondike Solitaire.

A FMV adventure set in the caves of Dun-Huang. A trap was set for a terrible demon. The trap worked all too well as it also trapped the stone cutters that built the trap in the walls of the cave. Its your mission to go in and unlock the stone cutters by solving various puzzles based on Chinese myth and lore.

The game uses the same slide show puzzles that made Myst famous. Unlike Myst, you have a mysterious guide who transforms in to a lotus blossom and provides history and explanations for the various puzzles.

There is also a help feature that provides clues to how to solve puzzles.

An educational game designed to help children recognize and name objects. The game has several famous characters from the Sesame Street show, including Big Bird, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, The two headed Monster and Guy Smiley as your host.

It's formatted as a game show with mini games that encourage spelling, reading and identifying words. Several of the characters provide instructions on the mini game and provide assistance when needed. As with many educational games aimed at preschoolers, every object performs a nifty little animation when clicked on.

The cast from the TV series performs most of the voices. Kermit is missing, possibly due to the unfortunate loss of Jim Henson in 1990.

It also requires that you work with the characters, which may have slightly different agendas. The game is set on planets that require exploration, ships, and various outworldly places.

Xplora 1: Peter Gabriel's Secret World is a multimedia piece by Peter Gabriel. It has a scavenger hunt theme throughout the game, and when certain pieces are found, it unlocks more sections of the CD. There is a mixing room and videos of concert backstages. Originally developed for the Mac, it was converted to Windows 3.1.

To progress through the CD, you have to solve puzzles with sliding tiles. The graphics are of sky, earth, trees and various other nature scenes, keeping with the CDs conservation theme. There is a section on world instruments. You can see and listen to them once you unlock that room.

The goal of the game is to sort the deck in to 4 sequential stacks of suits. (clubs, diamonds, spades and hearts.) You flip 1 to 3 cards from a deck and place them in alternating color sequential order. The table has a selection of 10 stacks of cards that you can flip from as well. The 10 stacks serve as your holders for alternating color sequential rows. The 4 suits are started with an ace and are added to as the game progresses.

In Armed and Dangerous, the player controls Roman, a thief in the Lionheads gang. The evil King Forge is attempting to unlock the Book of Rule, which will grant him magical powers. Aided by a blind seer and his thieving friends - a robot and a mole - Roman decides to intercept the book and banish the king.

The game is a variation of the run-and-gun third-person shooter. Created by Planet Moon, it has the same humour and similar gameplay elements as Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

The game has several unusual characters and weapons. Included is the shark gun, a device that literally shoots a shark at your enemies. There is a corkscrew device that burrows in to the ground and inverts gravity. You hang on to the device while your enemies fly into the sky and fall hard back to the ground.
