The company announces that in addition to their ongoing retail releases for Dark Age of Camelot, existing and future expansion packs will be available through digital distribution for the first time in the game’s history.

The company halts the development on Imperator, a sci-fi MMORPG, until further notice. It was previously scheduled for a June 2006 release. Due to this decision, the plans to establish a European publishing office are postponed as well.

Mythic settles the case with Microsoft over the Mythica dispute. Microsoft's game was already canned at that time, but they agreed not to use it for future online games or to register it as a trademark.

December 22, 2003

Mythic Entertainment files suit against Microsoft Corp. for trademark infringement over an upcoming Microsoft game. Mythic believes that the forthcoming Microsoft PC game "Mythica" infringes on its trademark and could cause confusion among consumers. Especially since the game is centered in Norse mythology as well (just like Dark Ages of Camelot).

Abandon Entertainment invests in Mythic Entertainment to further the development of massively multiplayer online games.

The company name is changed from Interworld Productions to Mythic Entertainment because it was found out that another "Interworld" was founded that same year.
