Undead Labs is a game development studio established by Jeff Strain, previously the co-founder of ArenaNet. It is based in Washington, Seattle (USA). The formation was first announced on 23 November 2009, and released on 5 June, 2013.

With a history in multiplayer games, the studio's first announced title is an XBLA zombie game called State of Decay, to be followed by Class4, which will be a continuation of the storyline, developed as a full console MMO.

On 10 June 2018, they were acquired by Microsoft Corporation to be part of the Microsoft Studios (today Xbox Game Studios) label.
