The Fizz Factor was the Austin development branch of Amaze Entertainment since April 2002. In July 2008, parent company Foundation 9 Entertainment announced that the company would be re-branded under its original name. On 29 July 2009, F9E announced that development capacity would be scaled down and that The Fizz Factor studio would be closed.
