Atlantis Interactive Entertainment consisted of many employees from Cryo Interactive Entertainment. The new team was formed in 2003 by Éric Safar and François Brun in 2003 in Paris, France, after Cryo went out of business.
As the company name implies, the team continued development on Cryo's Atlantis series, with two new titles: Atlantis Evolution (2004) and The Secrets of Atlantis: The Sacred Legacy (2006).
