Khaeons first game, Alpha Black Zero: Intrepid Protocol, was released in 2004. The team also contributed to EuroCops and made a proof of concept demo of the top-down shooter Negative Space, but eventually it was never released.

By 2007 development was completely taken over by Spellborn Works B.V., a sister company established specifically to work on the game. Khaeon continued to provide additional services until 2009. Spellborn Works went out of business in June 2009.

The company has since moved away completely from PC development and is now most active through the sister company Rough Cookie B.V. Rough Cookie was established in 2008 as a joint venture between Khaeon (Creative ICG) and Elements Interactive B.V.. The studio develops games for the iPhone and iPad, Android, and Windows Phone 7.
