X1 Software appeared on the gaming scene in 2003, with the Operation Barbarossa expansion for the IL-2 Sturmovik series. This line of add-ons continued with Case Blue, The Last Days and Banzai! - the next three expansions for the IL-2 Sturmovik series. These unofficial add-ons provide improved depth and a variety of additional gameplay, from dynamic campaigns to thousands of new missions and hundreds of new historical aircraft skins.
