Digital Bros. S.p.A was founded in 1989 in Milan, Italy, by the brothers Abramo and Raffaele Galante, who act as Chairman and Managing Director respectively, and went public on the Italian Stock Exchange in Oct. 2000.

The company is acting as a major distributor on the Italian market through Halifax, and internationally publishes and distributes through 505 Games and it's subsidiaries. In Dec. 2007, Digital Bros. S.p.A signed an agreement with 1C Company for exclusive publishing and distribution rights for its new label 1C Games in Russia and East Europe.
