OverviewDigital Eel is the name of an independent team of developers which began in 1999 in Kirkland, Massachusetts. Not a company as such, the principals at first worked out of a residence while still being employed by other companies.
The team is comprised of Rich Carlson and Iikka Keranen, who had worked together at Looking Glass Studios, plus William R. Sears (Phosphorous), an artist.
