Overview

Game Freak, Inc. is the Japanese video game developer behind the Pokémon RPGs, as well as several other games. It is now owned by Nintendo. The company was founded on April 26, 1989 by Satoshi Tajiri.

Trivia

In honour of the founder (Satoshi Tajiri), the lead character in the Japanese version of the Pokémon TV series was named Satoshi.
