Founded in 2001 in France (Lyon), Nobilis was a videogames distribution company. Brain-child of three videogames senior executives, Nobilis France distributes videogames on PC, Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Game Boy Advance for companies such as Davilex, DreamCatcher, Enlight Software, Kemco, Koch Media, Midway, Monte Cristo, Paradox Entertainment, Strategy First, The Adventure Company, Xicat Interactive, Zoo Digital and Radica.

The French group is the original company. It also has several distribution subsidiaries in France (Lyon), Spain (Nobilis Ibérica in Madrid), Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg (Nobilis Benelux in Brussels), and an office in Italy (Rome).

Activity of the company's website and publishing ceased in 2010.
