Developer Biography

David Fox was a senior game designer/project leader/programmer for Lucasfilm Games since its founding in 1982 and was employee #3. He was designer/project leader on Rescue on Fractalus!, Labyrinth, and Zak McCracken and the Alien Mindbenders. He was a SCUMM scriptor on Maniac Mansion, and co-designer/programmer on Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (graphic adventure). He was LucasArts' Director of Operations for a year, then went on to do a Location Based Entertainment project, Mirage, as a joint venture between Lucasfilm and Hughes Simulation. He eventually left the company and founded Electric Eggplant with his wife Annie Fox. He was also a senior game designer at Rocket Science Games and a producer at Xulu (xulu.com).

Since 2010, David has been developing iOS and Android apps through Electric Eggplant. His first game in two decades, Rube Works: The Official Rube Goldberg Invention Game, was published in November, 2013 by Unity Games, the new publishing arm of Unity Technologies.
