Steve Nix is Director of Business Development at id Software since December 2006. Previously, he held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Ritual Entertainment where he managed all business issues since joining the company in January 2001.

Earlier, Steve was the Chief Financial Officer at AnywhereYouGo.com where he developed the strategy and business plan transforming a small consulting boutique into a wireless application developer resource. He was involved in all aspects of management, including the company’s international expansion to London and Stockholm.

Earlier in his life, Steve worked as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Smith Breeden Associates managing huge piles of cash for companies like GM and IBM.

Steve received his MBA from SMU in Dallas and his BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude. He actively participates in Autocross racing events and is an avid F1 and road racing fan. Steve is an advisor for the Guildhall video game development program at SMU and the Dallas chapter of the IGDA.
