To capitalize on the huge popularity of the show during the mid 90s, the game had two separate releases in Portugal by Ecofilmes. While the second release was the regular French release, the first was the game directly imported from Japan, with an in-house cover in the style of other PAL releases at the time (the 'blue boxes') and their usual translated manual. However, as the game was not compatible with European consoles, it was bundled with a region adapter. The price, however, was still similar to other A-list titles for the system.
