Firefly Studios' Stronghold Warchest is the two-for-one release of Stronghold and Stronghold Crusader. Paper manuals are not bundled in the box, but are readable from the game discs, along with complete strategy guides.
Exclusive content is available for Stronghold Crusader. There is a second Crusader Trail, consisting of 30 linked skirmish missions, three previously available separate adversaries in skirmish and multiplayer (Emperor Frederick I, King Phillip I and the Sheriff of Nottingham) as well as five new ones (The Wazir, The Emir, The Nizar, The Marshall - known in the original Stronghold as Sir Longarm, and The Abbot).
Stronghold comes pre-patched to version 1.2, while Stronghold Crusader includes all changes from patch 1.1.
