Yes, Master!
Description official description
Yes, Master! is a short, free, single player, mouse controlled, visual novel with some light puzzle elements.
The story is told from a third person point of view, the main character being Star Lenarde. At the start of the game we learn that she has anxiety issues and panic attacks when alone in a strange place or in the company of strangers. She is treated for this by taking home a service dog, Bobby, who one day runs away into the woods. Star follows and meets a strange man who hypnotises her and they have sex.
The stranger is so pleased with her performance that he gives her a locket which will hypnotise others into becoming Star's sex slaves should she so wish. The rest of the novel explores how and whether Star uses the lockets powers.
The game is short and therefore needs no save feature, it does not have multiple endings and is completely linear. There is no dialogue but there is gentle elevator-type music and some expressive vocal sound effects at key moments.

Short, very well done, just did not draw me in
The Good
Let's get the obvious out of the way, it's free and anything that passes half to three quarters of an hour, depends on how fast you read and how long you study the artwork, this pleasantly gets my vote.
The story is OK with a few surprises, it's not just an adolescent bonkathon, and the dialogue is good and, within the game's version of reality, it's convincing. There were a couple of places where the grammar wasn't quite right but nothing glaring. It's not something I normally comment on but I found the text in the dialogue boxes very easy to read. I've played some games where this has not been the case and it struck me when I was two thirds of the way through that 'Hey! I can read this'. The font and colour is nothing special but I felt it showed that the developers put time and thought into making the game playable.
The background music is optional, a sort of light piano track similar to some of the stuff I play when I'm reading, and I found it just right. There's no dialogue as such and I found the music filled the silence perfectly. The vocal sound effects are a nice touch, just enough to make the characters seem more real without any long drawn out panting and screaming.
However, for me, the artwork is the star of this game. It has a sort of upmarket comic book style, it's simple, uncluttered, plenty of detail in each scene but not too much. Another plus, for me, is that the people believable and are not preposterously over endowed, the proportions may be borderline credible but they are the right side of that line.
There are some puzzles in this game, not many and they're not difficult. Items are highlighted if you can interact with them, a big magnifying glass icon appears in the top right corner when you have to search for something, and there are on-screen instructions that explain how to use an item from the inventory. In any puzzle game if you don't 'get it' then you could get stuck, but this game does its best to help you.
I liked this game and my overall impression is of developers who produced a game to be played and not a game to showcase the flash things they could do.
The Bad
I do like this game. I don't mind it being short. I don't mind it having no spoken dialogue. I don't mind any of it, I like it all but I don't LOVE it and that comes down to the story or more precisely the way it is told.
Again the story is not bad but the way it unfolded just did not engage me. It's probably the comic book style that does it (or didn't do it), because that format moves the story on quickly. Other adult games I've played with similar, very graphic, content delivered that content much more slowly, often making me work for it and thus, when the adult bit came it was sort of a reward and was far more effective. In this game I clicked through a screen or two of dialogue, straight into a sex scene with some more dialogue - click, click, click, click - into another sex scene which is dispensed with by a few more clicks, repeat, repeat, next scenario. The result is about as erotic as a washing machine manual - but much prettier.
The Bottom Line
Good game, well done.
I am certain that the story would be very erotic if presented as a novel with occasional pictures, unfortunately this is in a comic book style and it seems I have outgrown comics. Having said that I will certainly watch what these developers produce in the future because they produce a quality game
