A Classic Pain in the...

The Good
The graphics.

By 1991, at a time when The Simpsons were so popular that anything with Bart's face would be purchased immediately by children, teens, and of course, adults, this kind of game could catch anybody just for its look.

Nice and full colored graphics were enough to make someone acquire a copy of BHOW and try to enjoy a new simpson's game on their PCs, with the feeling of been playing inside the cartoon's universe.

After The Arcade Game (also from Konami) no other Simpsons game was so cool in their graphics as this one.

The Bad
The music and sound effects to begin...

Let's be honest.... there was no music in this game, just crappy FX sounds, and some digitalized voices.

And of course... THE GAMEPLAY Worse gameplay EVER, the controls where sooo hard! Even with a Joystick, bart would move like if he has bricks in his feet. Even old Sierra games from the 80s had a more softly character movement. And jumping here is awful, and most of the time, your life would depend on the jump. So get ready to die a lot.

The Bottom Line
A classic and popular game for the PCs of the 90s, with the worse gameplay ever. However, being the Simpsons at its time of glory, any gamer would stand the gameplay just because it was, and it will ever be... The Simpsons.
