1914: The Great War

Moby ID: 17122

Description official descriptions

Two campaigns of fifteen missions, which are based on real battles of World War I, each puts the player in the shoes of either an Allied or a German officer. From a gameplay view it is similar to Blue Byte's Historyline: 1914-1918.

The game features classic turn-based gameplay, enriched with a fully rotatable and zoom-able environment. As usual with these kind of games the player has to use different tactics to win the missions - to do so he has several tactical possibilities to his disposal, e.g. using trenches or using pioneers to build barbed wire fences. The goals are mostly to liberate or defend an area.
