The Good
It's a fun game! It's all about illegal races and car customization in a huge sandbox free-roaming Los Angeles-based city, just like GTA San Andreas, but you are not there killing people and you don't steal cars: you bring them back to their original owner (that's you). The AI is just great: the pedestrians obey the streetlights, and avoid the crazy racers, and so do the other cars! They even indicate before doing turns!

The Bad
The music is not so great compared to GTA:SA, but remember, that you can rip your own CDs into your XBOX and then listen to them while driftin', liftin', swiftin', coastin', testaroastin'... The story is quite simple, it's just an excuse to make the game more than just a races game, a la PGR. The use of Nitros; a Hint: don't use it when you have an opponent ahead, i.e. in your field of view. Use it when they are behind you because, mysteriously, when you start to boost your speed, they do it too! Sometimes it's better to just keep the hammer down than to use nitros. And that's odd.

The Bottom Line
Again, think of GTA San Andreas, and then remove all the parody names, mock radio advertising, and gangster stuff. Don't get me wrong, I also loved GTA SA, but this is a game for a wider sector of the gaming population.
