Trainz: Driver Edition

Trainz: Driver Edition is a compact version of Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 where you can have the same driving experience but without the detailed management system. You can choose to use the simple model train-style controller or use a more immersive realistic configuration of a real locomotive cab.

As the engineer you'll be able to experience the sights and sounds of real-world historic and modern locomotives through 21 interactive scenarios. Driving a train is no simple task, you'll have to watch the tracks ahead looking for signals, speed limits, and be ready to blast the whistle if you see something in the way.

The two modes of play offer you plenty to do. In Driver Mode let's you jump in with ready-to-drive routes and real-world locomotives. Railyard Mode let's you run long haul freight services and high-speed passenger runs.
