Very nice strategic, medieval game
The Good
The more you start playing the game, the more you start seeing opportunities to gain money in all different ways. The main target is to get wealthy and influential in order to become an adviser of Her Majesty Elisabeth I. You can do this in different ways, as a merchant or a pirate and later on also as a real manager owning different workshops. You should get your money out of the price differences between the different cities, which are a consequence of shortages and abundances. Warehouses are very helpful to play on this game of offer and supply. Also seasonal changes are an opportunity to gain money (in summer a lot of grain, thus low prices, in winter there is a need for grain and they offer high prices). In the south they sell silk at modest prices, where in the north they are willing to pay a lot of money for it. The best goods to merchandise in are: grain, salt, fish, beer, wine, brandy, silk, cloth, sails... In fact you should find out yourself.. create shortages and sell the goods back to much higher prices...
The Bad
While playing, the game sometimes blocks and you need to restart the PC.
The Bottom Line
Very amusing and addictive
