v1.01 patch - replaced the copy protection system with a simpler implementation, fixed two bugs that could corrupt saved games, added "o" hotkey to jump to an election opponent, disabled "f" hotkey (remnant from the editor), fixed bug where roads could be laid in oceans, added one more character to the credits animation (drunken teamster)

v1.02 patch - enabled scenario editor, added hotkeys, airports built 35% faster, other structures built 10% faster, prior wages will be remembered in occasions where the world bank enforces lower wages on the player, fishing wharfs can no longer be placed in such a way as to trap the resulting fishing boats, fixed obscure crashes

v1.02B patch - fixed French localization, fixed a rare crash

v1.03 patch - expanded editor capabilities, fixed a clipping issue related to the "Reduced Graphics Shifting" setting, fixed city renaming

v1.04 patch - fixed a memory leak related to pausing in hardware mode, fixed an obscure crash in software mode

v1.05 patch - fixed a problem in hardware mode on nVidia graphics cards where some visuals would display thin lines and cracks

v1.06 patch - fixed a rare crash in software mode

v1.07 patch - artificially hardcoded timestamp on the main executable to prevent installation issues with the Paradise Island expansion pack, dead bodies no longer stay on the map indefinitely, GroupVariables element of the events system now properly saves
