Seed
Description official descriptions
After having colonized the Moon and Mars, humanity wanted to spread even further across the universe. The sent off colonization ships were not populated by humans themselves however. Instead, DNA codes, sperms and eggs were carried along in cryocoolers, leaving it to the computer aboard to hatch the colonists at the right time. One of the ships found a perfect planet and started terraforming it. But when the conditions on the planet gradually worsened, this went wrong. The colony tower was also starting to fail and fall apart. Seeing no other way to make the mission succeed, the computer decided to hatch 100 humans.
Seed is a non-combat MMORPG. The player assumes the role of a colonist, who will have to work together with the other colonists to maintain the colony, fix equipment failures, level up engineering skills and engage in the politics. Most actions are performed using a point-and-click approach. Instead of quests, the game features "stories", which are handed out by NCPs or created by players.
The 3rd person viewpoint and cel-shaded graphics give Seed a comic book feeling.
