RunMan Unlimited

RunMan Unlimited is the sequel to RunMan and it is the second game in the series. The gameplay from the first game is kept, but two new sections are added.* Running: this is the game mode from the original game. RunMan needs to survive as long as possible by jumping over objects or ducking to roll under them. Starting at a very slow speed, RunMan moves automatically and the player only needs to perform one of the two available actions to get past the obstacles. For each successful move, the game speed (no longer shown in the top left corner) is increased incrementally. After a certain number of points the backdrop changes with a new effect, changing day into night, or adding rain.

• Gliding: after a certain number of points the second sequence is started. RunMan is in the air with a hang glider, but constantly loses altitude. To avoid obstacles, a key can be pressed to float upwards slowly. When an obstacle is hit or RunMan goes off the edge of the screen, the game is over.

• Falling: when the gliding section is completed, RunMan is falling through the air. He has to be moved left or right to grab red orbs. When the altitude reaches 1,000 a parachute can be deployed using the space bar to land safely. When it is released too early 10 points are deducted and if it is not deployed before 500 the game is over. When it is deployed at 1,000 exactly a bonus of 20 points is awarded.

The section need to be played in a fixed order and the game features a high score list.
