Star Trek Online

Characters

Probably due to likeness rights, originally none of the actors from any of the five Star Trek shows and eleven films make a physical appearance in Star Trek Online. However, several characters who appeared as infants and young children do. Some include:

• Kirayoshi O'Brien, the infant son of Miles O'Brien from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Now grown and working for Starfleet at Memory Alpha.
• Naomi Wildman, the young child from Star Trek: Voyager. Now commanding Deepspace K7.
• Miral Paris, the daughter of Tom Paris and B'Elanna Torres from Star Trek Voyager. Now a Security Chief aboard the U.S.S. Kirk.

It should be noted however, that Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto do appear as Spock, but in voice only.

Also as the MMO has gathered additional updates (labeled "seasons"), several later episodes have attracted actors of various Star Trek characters to reprise their roles. These include Worf, Nog, Tom Paris, Nellix, The Holographic Doctor, Tasha Yar, Sela and many more.

Leonard Nimoy Tribute

The game paid tribute to the death of Leonard Nimoy through a fountain in Vulcan, which has a stone statue of his character Spock along with the inscription "live long and prosper".
