Beginning
Dragon Warrior III was the first RPG where the quest begins with the hero waken up by his mother. This opening has been copied by many games, such as Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun and several others.
Music
As of 2007, the Famicom/NES version of Dragon Quest/Warrior III is the only title in the series which does not feature the Dragon Quest overture music at title screen.
