Development

Very late in development, the development team realized they could not stream in textures for the large city maps. The artists had to trim down all textures in order to fit a map into memory all at once. They were not able to do this in time and, unbeknownst to them, someone in management decided to decimate all textures by 75% in order to submit the alpha in time. Because of this the textures in the game are lower quality and fuzzy.
