Retro II

Moby ID: 52182

Description

Retro II is a scrolling shoot-em-up game. The player's ship, shaped like a circle, can shoot a stream of bullets or deploy bombs that orbit the ship, as if on a string, and destroy the enemies they touch. Shooting or deploying bombs uses up energy, though it regenerates quickly. It is possible to collect temporary power-ups--including improved weaponry (lasers, homing weapon, a "multibomb") and time slowdown--as well as upgrades that increase the energy capacity and the amount of bombs that can be deployed at the same time.

The enemies kill instantly on contact. The cross-shaped enemies are immune to normal bullets, but can be destroyed with bombs, lasers and homing bullets.
