Terminology
What's the story behind the name "Antiriad"? In the game, barbarian hero Tal searches for a prized artifact, a radiation suit. On one of artist Dan Malone's sketches, this suit had »ANTI-RAD« printed on the front. However, there's a small tear between the letter R and A so that it looks like »ANTI-RIAD«. The term stuck.

Title screen logo
The logo used in the title screen for the Antiriad version appears to be inspired by the logo of the heavy metal group Iron Maiden.
