Little Galaxy

Little Galaxy is a game where a character needs to hop from planet to planet through a tap. The planets rotate, so the player has to time carefully or the character floats off into space. During the journey stars can be collected for points. These stars also often show the ideal trajectory for the jump. Additional points can be scored by hopping quickly, creating a chain, or moving to a separate planet where a full rotation is rewarded with a spin bonus.

Additional gameplay elements include suns with a gravitation pull that require a different hopping trajectory, black holes that move the character to a new environment, planting flags, planets that only be visited for a short time and collecting fragments that form a magnet that attract stars. In the journey game mode levels have about three objectives that need to be completed against a time limit to move on. The infinity game mode is fairly identical but removes most goals, just going for a high score. Levels are regenerated for each session.

Next to stars, diamonds can be collected as the main currency. They are used to get additional revives in the journey mode to continue playing after dying instead of restarting the entire level. They can also be spent in the galactic megastore to get magnets, saving stars (saves the character from jumping off the screen once), and solutrons that allow the player to skip an objective. Players can also buy additional characters, alternate costumes, and power-ups and upgrades. They can for instance enhance magnets to attract from a larger distance or for a longer time, provide more saving stars, or introduce comets that add time bonuses.

Additional diamonds are earned through social interactions with Facebook and Twitter, or by buying large diamond packs for real money as in-app purchases. The Android version is free-to-play with in-game advertisements. The iOS game is a commercial version, but also relies on in-app purchases.
