Description
Euchre is a card game played by two teams of two players each. It is found mainly in Canada, from the mid-west to Nova Scotia, the U.S., from the mid-west to the north-east, the U.S. Navy, Britain, mainly Cornwall, Devon and the Channel Islands, Australia and New Zealand. It is played with the ace, king, queen, jack ten and nine of spades, clubs, diamonds and hearts and, in Britain, Australia and New Zealand, one joker. Full rules can be found here.
This implementation of the game is a single-player, freeware version where the computer takes the role of the other three players, it is the North American variant of the game in that it does not use Jokers. The 'freeware' version of the game is complete but has just one difficulty setting, that of Novice. The registered version of the game, which had to be purchased, promised an 'Advanced' level.
