White Breath: Kizuna - With Faint Hope
Description
This PlayStation 2 port is released roughly two years after the original Windows version, but is stripped of all the adult graphics. The story premise remains the same, however. The protagonist of the story is Tsukasa Sagami, a high-school student who had miraculously recovered from a fatal illness when he was a child. Over time he became fairly popular in school and somewhat of a soccer star. But the illness returned and he was diagnosed with very little time left to live, probably not even until the graduation.
The game progresses through the calendar, day by day, letting you decide which characters you want to meet. Namely, you can only select among five different girls, most of which will exclude one another as the places and activities happen at the same time in a different place. The game then progresses as a visual novel where you read the story and occasionally select your action when the choice presents itself. During the gameplay characters are mildly animated (eyes, mouth, breath).
