Speed Zone
- Speed Zone (1988 on DOS, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC...)
Description
Speed Zone is a futuristic racing with some similarities to Rollcage.
The races take place in environments such as extraterrestrial planets, a space station and in an asteroid field. Win races to unlock levels laid out in a pyramid structure. You can upgrade your car with different skins, and better acceleration, grip and speed.
Game modes include solo mode where you're on your own, race mode includes opponents and battle mode allows you to fight against other players. One notable feature is multiplayer support for up to 8 players in splitscreen. With 8 players the screen will be divided into a 3x3 grid with one tile for each players' view and a track overview in the middle tile.
