Best Basketball Game for the GameCube!

The Good
This game has excellent graphics and animations for a basketball game on the Nintendo GameCube. The game is jam-packed with tons of features. The gameplay modes include Quick Game, Season, Tournament, Playoffs, Franchise, and Street. The last two are the main gameplay modes in the game. Franchise mode is fantastic with loads of stats and new features such as ESPN Broadcast Presentation, rookie scouting, draft, and much more! Street mode offers many street courts based on the real ones across the country such as Venice Beach. The commentary is very accurate and usually is not repetitive. This game also has a very cool Create-a-Team mode. This awesome feature even allows created teams to be played in Franchise mode!

The Bad
At default settings, the game moves a little slow. Thankfully, there are sliders to adjust almost everything in the game. The game uses a huge amount of memory. Franchise mode and Season mode each uses almost the entire 59 Memory Card! A 1019 Memory Card is needed to save everything in this game.

The Bottom Line
This is the best basketball game for the GameCube! It has awesome graphics and gameplay. There are many modes to keep you entertained for a long time. If you want a basketball game don't waste your money on new ones such as NBA Live 06. Get this game because it's a much better basketball game. In fact, it's the most realistic basketball game for the GameCube.
