Description

Eliss Infinity is the sequel to Eliss. Just like the original title it is a fast-paced puzzle game about controlling planets. The game is played on a single screen where planets of different sizes and colours spawn. The player has to manipulate them in various ways to score and progress. A planet can be removed from the screen by dragging it into a hole of the correct colour. However, it also needs to be the same size. Through pinching, a planet can be split in smaller parts and moving two planets of the same colour towards each other fuses them. Planets can be freely moved around by dragging. The player has to keep up and quickly get rid of planets before they fill the entire screen. When planets or holes of different colours collide, they eat up each other and reduce a 'health' meter in the top left corner of the screen. If no more health is left, the game is over. Exploding planets sometimes leave behind small fragments that can damage planets of a different colour. These fragments can be removed right away through swipes.

The Odyssey mode contains the 25 levels of the original Eliss. They have been polished and there is an interactive tutorial and an unlockable music arpeggiator. The Infinity mode is entirely new. Instead of levels, it is an endless game mode to get the best score without a time or level limit. By lining up large combos, power-ups can be earned. Spacebox is another new game mode. It lets player freely experiment with planets and the game mechanics without having to worry about dangers or damage. There is a new interface, leaderboards, progress syncing through Game Center for iOS, and new music tracks next to the ones of the original game.
