LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game

This game was incredibly well polished, even if it is very simple, and well worth $30. Anyone who loves Star Wars or LEGOs should have fun with it, and it is simple enough for younger kids to play with a little help from a player two parent.

So there you have it. If your kids are into Star Wars this game will provide hours of entertainment with out the frustration of trying to get through stages. And once they go to bed, the adults can have fun with the game as well.

While a very short game (I made it through the 6 levels of episode 1 in around 2 hours, including some redo's on the pod racing level), it's one that could easily be picked up and played at any time. Once the story mode on a level is unlocked, it opens up that level to free play mode, which lets you take any of the unlocked characters through the level sometimes allowing alternate paths to be taken, thanks to the different abilities characters have.

I found nothing at all offensive about this game. There is violence, but it's not real. Lego people killing other Lego people doesn't bother me. When characters lose all their health, they will die and fall apart, their Lego pieces flying everywhere. The pieces disappear within five seconds.

Dieses Spiel macht Kinder froh - und Erwachsene ebenso. Mit knuffigen Comic-Knirpsen, Star-Wars-Atmospähre in jeder Ecke und vielen kleinen Gags straft es alle Lizenz-Klischees Lügen.

Provavelmente, o único grupo excluído deverá ser o dos jogadores hardcore, que possivelmente enxergarão um game lento, fácil demais e sem espaço para exibição de virtuosismo nos controles. Aos demais, a Força será aliada inseparável. Ainda mais jogando em duplas.

Dank Lego Star Wars dürfen jetzt auch fortgeschrittenere Semester wieder zu den bunten Bauklötzchen greifen, ohne sich dafür genieren zu müssen. Denn hinter dem vermeintlichen Kindertitel verbirgt sich ein anspruchsvolles Adventure, bei dem sogar Köpfe rollen. In chronologischer Reihenfolge spielen Sie die bekanntesten Szenen der ersten drei Star Wars-Episoden nach. Da hierzu natürlich auch George Lucas' neuester Streich, Die Rache der Sith, gehört, sollten Sie mit dem letzten Kapitel besser bis nach dem Kinobesuch warten.

I don’t usually play “Star Wars” action games. I save myself for a RPG and occasionally for a FPS. But for LEGO Star Wars I have made an exception and this happened not because I had discovered the perfect game, but cause I had to! On one hand I have played once more with the little plastic bricks called LEGO and on the other hand I have had a lot of fun. LEGO Star Wars is an amusing and relaxing game and you rarely get to play such a game in our days when you can play a serious game for weeks without smiling.

If you're a parent, LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game should be at the top of your child's birthday list. It has everything a family-oriented title needs: it has personality, puzzles, cooperative modes, replay value, low violence, a lack of frustrating difficulty, and most importantly, it has Darth Vader. And that's what makes it enjoyable for adults too, because let's face it; Darth Vader makes everything better -- it's a fact.

LEGO Star Wars is kort en weinig uitdagend, maar door de coopmode is het niettemin een aanrader voor zowel jong als oud!

This is probably one of the better kids' games to hit the market in a while, and that it's clever and charming enough to appeal to adults is a testament to that fact. The novelty of watching a little Lego person version of Obi-Wan Kenobi duel it out with Darth Maul certainly accounts for a large portion of the game's appeal, but on its own merits it's a fairly fun, inventive little game.

Personnellement j'ai eu peur quand j'ai vu arriver ce einième jeu à la license Star Wars. Mais cette fois ci Lucasarts ne s'est vraiment pas moqué de nous. C'est avec un nouveau concept que l'univers de George Lucas revient sur nos cartes graphiques, celui des Legos. On pouvait avoir peur car les précédents jeux Legos, pour la plupart, restent assez pauvres en tout termes. Ah mais cette fois ci, quelle nostalgie de retrouver nos petits bonhommes scandinaves qui ont marqué toute notre enfance (enfin surtout les garçons).

Bei Lego Star Wars werden Kindheitsträume wahr: Im Sternenkrieg mit kleinen Legofiguren das Lichtschwert zu schwingen - großartig! Schreibe ich hier etwa mit dem Herz eines Sechsjährigen? Vielleicht. Aber es sind die liebevollen Details und schrägen Ideen, die mich jedes Alter vergessen lassen. Schade, dass nach ein paar Stunden schon der Abspann erscheint, da hätten ein zweiter Schwierigkeitsgrad oder zusätzliche Aufträge in den alten Episoden Wunder gewirkt. Trotzdem, Junge und Junggeblieben können zugreifen.

Right about the time I grew tired of the game, it was over. Not that I mind collecting "studs" to trade in to unlock characters or cheats or that going back to uncover secrets in free-play mode isn't fun, but this is a pretty simple, training-wheels-on platformer. But what do I know? I finished elementary school decades ago.

Lego Star Wars va diviser les foules. Franchement pas palpitant dans son gameplay avec ses déplacements mous et ses possibilités d'actions réduites, il compte trop sur son ambiance et son design rigolo pour convaincre. Seulement encore faut-il trouver ça drôle. Ca n'est pas évident.
