But that's a minor complaint. MCF: Prime Suspects retains all of the elements that made the original such a hit: a fun and simple premise, an amusing storyline and characters, and clever level design, while providing much better artwork, more locations to explore and tighter writing. In other words, it's a perfect recipe for a very successful sequel. We're looking forward to the next one!

Prime Suspect's longevity is both a blessing and a curse. Eventually, you'll start revisiting locations and searching for the same items, which could diminish your interest. Some of the images are a bit pixilated, too, making it hard to tell a snail from a smudge on the screen, for instance. Still, the core gameplay is gratifying and it's fun when you catch the creators trying to throw you for a loop. (For example, you might be required to find two bats, one of which flies, the other of which Barry Bonds uses to hit homeruns.) The overall noir flavor of the visuals is also pleasing. So grab your clue book and hit the streets, but not before making an appointment with your optometrist.
