Michael Rubinelli began his career at Electronic Arts where he was a producer. Following that assignment, he worked at THQ as vice president of product development and at Midway Games as vice president of product acquisition and vice president of third party development. He then worked as a consultant for Take-Two Interactive and joined Capcom U.S.A., Inc. in November 2005 as vice president, business development/third party product acquisition and development. In this newly created position, Rubinelli is responsible for evaluating and acquiring product from external game developers to be published domestically or internationally by Capcom.
