Rémi Herbulot was born in 1956. After studies at the IFOCOP and achieving a science degree, he became managing inspector at Valéo from 1980 through 1984. In 1985 he began programming and created several successful games at ERE Informatique including Macadam Bumper, Crafton & Xunk, l'Ange de Cristal, Purple Saturn Day and Dune. In 1992, he created Cryo Interactive Entertainment with Jean-Martial Lefranc and Philippe Ulrich.
