Michael Haller is a seasoned entrepreneur in the video game industry, with a history of co-founding and leading ventures. His expertise spans various domains, including game development, business development, and project management.
As the co-founder and president of Gammaker, Inc. since 2004, Michael has been instrumental in producing notable video games such as Ready 2 Rumble for the Wii. Additionally, he has provided consultation services for companies like High Impact Games (Rachet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Disney Princesses), Bionic Games and HammerCat Studios. He is also the Co-Founder of Ceden.network since January 2023.
Between 2018 and 2021 he was President and CEO of Vital Reality in the Greater Los Angeles Area. Prior to this, he served as chairman of the board at Kapitall between 2006 and 2010.
Michael's career includes high-profile positions at industry giants such as SEGA (2002-2003) and Electronic Arts (2000-2002). At EA, he served as Vice President and Executive Producer, where he spearheaded initiatives that led to the establishment of the Medal of Honor franchise. His tenure at SEGA saw him as the General Manager of Sammy Studios LA. Between 1992 and 1999 he was Vice President and Member of the Board at THQ.
Before his tenure in the video game industry, Michael co-founded Streamline Pictures, where he played a crucial role in distributing Japanese anime worldwide, notably the iconic Akira. His also served as a foreign service officer for the U.S. Department of State, where he established the Embassy's Project Development Office and served as a cultural attaché in Tokyo, Japan.
