Panzer Dragoon II: Zwei
Description official description
The second Panzer Dragoon game is not a sequel, but a prequel to the first, and is also set in a post-apocalyptic world where mankind struggles against forces of nature, trying to re-build their civilization.
The game follows the story of a boy named Lundi who lives in a frontier town. The area is populated by mutant animals called "khourieats". The town inhabitants see them as bad omens and kill them. One day Lundi finds a small khourieat with wings. Instead of killing it, Lundi decides to hide it and keep it as a pet. After his town was destroyed by an ancient weapon, Lundi sets out on a long journey with his pet, who will soon become a powerful dragon.
Like the first game, Panzer Dragoon Zwei is a rail-shooter. The player follows a pre-set course and either uses Lundi's gun or the dragon's special abilities to dispose of the enemies. Lagi (that is the name of the dragon) can evolve during the game and gain more powerful attacks, which signifies a step towards a real RPG like Panzer Dragoon Saga.

Panzer Dragoon 2 is a great game but short and a little on the easy side.
The Good
What I liked about the game, first off, was the opening scene of the game when you first start. It pretty much explains the story, but that is the only FMV you'll see in the game besides at the end. What else did I like? I have fond memories of playing the first when I was very young. The way the designers kept the great action without making any debilitating changes is a big up to the game. The game has graphics that are well... great for its time. Personally, I like the level design and graphics. One thing I noticed while playing was depending on the way you play your route can change such as: if I were going down a tunnel with an intersection but I still haven't learned how to pick another route. The story is very blunt and understandable. This game is great, but they could have added so much more.
The Bad
I did not like how short or easy the game was. I beat it my first round through in 1 hour 39min. not including my breaks to answer the phone or tend to home duties.
The Bottom Line
The game was a fun game with an awesome concept of gaming but unless you are a collector I wouldn't buy this one. This is one of those games that rate you and expect you to replay to get better.
