Blackstar Interactive GmbH was a German publishing and distribution company located in Worms, Germany. The company was originally formed as a sole proprietorship in 1996 by Simon Hellwig under the name Blackstar Multimedia. The name change to Blackstar Interactive GmbH occurred in December 1998.

Blackstar's main focus was to bring entertainment products to German speaking territories, especially games for Personal Computer and Macintosh.

In the summer of 2001, Blackstar Interactive GmbH had seven permanent employees and employed more than 100 programmers, designers, graphic designers, sales forces and marketing experts working on behalf of the company in addition to long-term assignments in the field of business development, marketing and distribution.

The company went insolvent in December 2002.
