Biography edit · view history
A life-long traditional artist & animator with over 20 years of experience in 3D digital fields (3D stereo imaging, video-games, interactive software design, scientific visualization & 3D animation). Holliday worked in the video-game industry as a 3D animator and lead artist for several interactive software companies including industry giant Sony Computer Entertainment of America. Following 7 years of employment by SCEA, Holliday became the art director and senior shareholder of RedZone Interactive, inc., an entertainment software development studio responsible for the creation of video-game titles for the Sony Playstation and PS2 game consoles.
As an art director & animator in the video-game industry she contributed to 16 game titles with one franchise being a tremendously successful Playstation launch title, "NFL GameDay", selling over 5 million copies (outselling Madden the first several development cycles). Madden then bought the NFL license excluding other companies from making NFL video-games.
Her current work, 3D Stereo (3DS) art & photography (which Holliday initially designed & rendered on supercomputers in the 1980's) utilizes 3DS technology to produce art within a floating 3 dimensional viewing space (viewable with a 3D projection system & polarized glasses or on stereo-view cards with viewers). Holliday currently teaches 3DS workshops to high-school students and teachers and is available for 3DS consulting.
