Biography edit · view history

Susan Mollica was born and raised in New Jersey. She began writing at a young age, and developed an acute eye in the design and development of written and published educational and promotional materials. She joined Digital Learning Systems at the exciting time of introduction of IBM's personal computer to the business world and marketplace. IBM bundled the DLS tutorial with every PC that was purchased.

Afterwards, Susan developed a series of six trivia games to be marketed by IBM alongside the PC. While gaining an MBA in Marketing, Susan helped take the DLS initiative a step further in determining how to use interactive advertising to market products that were not computer-related. She spearheaded the design and development of instructional, educational, and informative materials in the fields of pharmaceutical, health care, automotive and insurance industries.

Additionally, Susan developed digital trade show tools for companies including IBM, Tandy Corporation, AT&T, SmithKline, HP, and Ericsson Information Systems, to gain attention to their high tech products. Susan continued her career in public relations and promotions by establishing Plant Promotions USA Inc. in 1989 which flourished for almost 20 years before its sale.

Susan, as of August 2022, continues to freelance write and design a variety of materials for various media. She runs a corporate event planning business and maintains directorship over two organizations: Princeton Arts & Entertainment, and FESTA: A Celebration of Italian American Culture. She was elected Chair of the New Brunswick Historical Association in 2018. Susan continues to reside in New Jersey.
