Greg O'Connor-Read has been instrumental in the marketing of numerous award-winning artists and breakthrough soundtracks. A prolific promoter and constant leading authority in this growing field; Greg consulted for The Barbican's "Game On" exhibition, the first international touring exhibition to celebrate the art and culture of video games including soundtracks and moderated the Society of Composers and Lyricists' inaugural seminar on "Writing Music for Games."

He is consultant/moderator for the MIDEM Music For Images Conference, The Hollywood Reporter/Billboard Film & Television Music Conference ("The Secrets Behind Video Game Music"), The Hollywood Music Awards and serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Game Audio Network Guild and Soundtrack peer member of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.

Among his notable accomplishments, Greg lobbied for and secured the British Academy Award (BAFTA) for best Original Music in a video game. He was the first recipient of the Game Audio Network Guild Recognition Award and has been featured in The Complete Guide To Game Audio, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, The New York Times and BBC Radio. In 2009 he co-founded Licence To Thrill Music (with veteran A&R music exec Valerie Vickers), an independent music publisher representing original works by award-winning composers for placement in multimedia.
